Andy
Martin has been one of America’s most respected consumer advocates for
over a third of a century. After forming the Illinois Consumer Council in
1970 he became an expert witness in hearings before the United States
Senate in 1972. He became he world’s First Consumer Advocate in Cyberspace
when he formed the Committee to Fight Microsoft in 1995 and helped lead
the battle for state and federal litigation against the software giant.
Andy has an intense personal interest in the battle against Pulte Homes
and its affiliate DiVosta Homes. His mother, who is in her 80’s, purchased
a retirement home from DiVosta Homes and signed DiVosta’s form contract.
DiVosta then violated its own form contract, and Andy and his mother are
suing DiVosta Homes.
When Andy sought help at Pulte headquarters, he was abused and insulted.
Inquiring further, he found a vast diaspora of unhappy Pulte, DiVosta and
Del Webb homeowners. In recent years, Pulte has purchased respected local
builders such as DiVosta, then gutted the companies’ ethics and customer
service.
Now Andy has lent his expertise to the creation of a national
clearinghouse to fight for consumer rights against the Pulte behemoth and
its arrogant owners and employees.
If you are an unhappy customer or victim, join us and help Andy fight for
better national regulation of homebuilders.
The national clearinghouse for complaints about
Pulte Homes and its affiliates, DiVosta Homes and Del Webb!
